Red very soft polymer rib shape #1

The Shape 1 Rib is Mudtools bestseller tool. It's not too big and not too small. It's just right. You need one in your toolbox; you really do. The traditional kidney-shaped rib is the most universally recognized pottery tool. It fits nicely in hand and is useful for sculpting, hand-building, and throwing clay.

All of Mudtools polymer ribs are made of unique flexible materials that are resistant to wear and the formation of burrs. Mudtools have found that with general use these ribs become burnished over time.
