B128CHF – Versatile stoneware clay with grog for throwing and handbuilding projects
The B128CHF offers the ideal balance between our classic B128 and the coarsely grogged B128CH. With the addition of fire-resistant grog (ca. 25%, 0-0.2 mm), this stoneware clay combines stability and malleability. These characteristics make it incredibly versatile and very suitable for throwing at the potter’s wheel for handbuilding and object ceramics.
Due to the well-balanced amount of grog, the B128CHF offers high rigidity without losing any of its malleability and processability. Whether it’s for delicate shapes or stable wall thicknesses – this clay is highly versatile. On top of that, the B128CHF is perfect for both oxidation and reduction firings and consistently delivers great results.
