B128CHRobust stoneware clay for demanding projects and Raku

The B128CH is based on the time-tested stoneware clay B128 and has fire-resistant grog grains (ca. 35% grog, 0-1 mm) added to it. This addition makes it an excellent choice for demanding projects such as building ceramics, figurines, large handbuilding projects, and object ceramics. Despite its high grog content, the clay remains highly malleable, is particularly suitable for thicker walls, but less ideal for throwing.

The B128CH shows outstanding results for oxidation as well as reduction firings. One notable feature is its suitability for the Raku technique, which optimally brings out its robust qualities and impressive effects.

Benefits of the B128CH:

  • Ideal for building ceramics, figurines, and large handbuilding projects
  • Perfect for thicker walls and demanding projects
  • Ideally suited for Raku firing techniques
  • Suitable for oxidation and reduction firings

With the B128CH, you can rely on a versatile and stable clay that meets both your artistic and technical requirements
