Triangular mouldings - firing aid for glazed ceramics
Ceramic triangular mouldings are used like tribrachs for contactless firing of glazed objects. The three fine edges minimise the contact surface and prevent sticking.
Dimensions: 50 × 10 mm.
Heat-resistant up to 1100 °C.
Delivery: 250 g (approx. 40 pieces)
Not suitable for clays that soften considerably during stoneware firing.
What is the difference between tribrachs and triangular mouldings?
Tripods support glazed objects on three points and are particularly suitable for smaller workpieces. Triangular strips provide a continuous but very narrow support edge and are ideal for elongated or larger pieces. Both prevent the glaze from sticking during firing.
