Spar prop - flexible base for stacking in the kiln
The spar prob is a rectangular block with 8 holes and lateral grooves. It serves as a support for spar bars, on which ceramic parts can be placed in the kiln in a space-saving and variable manner. Ideal for efficient use of the kiln chamber and individual installation heights.
How does the spar system work in the kiln?
The spar system consists of economy supports and economy rods. The supports serve as a stable base into which the bars are inserted or placed. The items to be fired are placed on the bars at specific points, creating an open structure that makes optimum use of the kiln space. Particularly suitable for small workpieces, jewelry or light ceramic pieces with glaze all around.
