Blank rice papers are unprinted decal rice papers that you can use as transfer paper on ceramics.
For the use of the blank rice paper you need:
- Blank rice paper (art. no. 41.979)
- Bodmer Liquid Ceramic Colours
- paintbrush
- Painting horns with a thin tip
- Possibly drawing templates
When you feel the two sides of the blank rice paper, you will notice that the paper consists of a rough and a smooth side.
Apply the paint to the rough side of the paper. You can apply your painting with brushes painting horns or any other equipment. Use Bodmer liquid ceramic stains as paint.
If you want to work with drawing templates, place them under the blank paper and trace the template with the ceramic painting horn filled with ceramic paint.
Of course, the blank rice paper can also be painted with freehand drawings.
After painting, let the drawings dry. Then use the painted rice paper like all other decal rice papers in our assortment: place the paper with the painted side on the leather-hard or raw-fired clay and dab lightly and carefully with a moistened sponge on the opposite side of the rice paper. The colour is applied to the clay in this way.
