Use of ceramic stains
The ready-to-use ceramic stains (ml) are mixed ready for use. They only need to be stirred and can then be painted onto the pre-fired body. Then glaze by dipping with transparent glaze. Alternatively, they can also be painted onto a base glaze, for example 51.752 tin-white glaze.
The powder ceramic stains can be mixed with water, liquid glaze glue (article no. 806), or glycerine or other suitable media ready for brushing. For example, the colour powder is spread on a glass plate with as much liquid glaze glue until a thick paste is formed, which is further diluted with water for painting. Adding glaze glue makes the painting smudge-proof, which is particularly important when overglazing with transparent glaze. Dried colours can be dissolved with water and reused.
