Description
The Bodmer TR28 is characterized by the fact that dishes made with this clay are oven-safe, meaning they can be warmed up in the oven. On the other hand, the TR28 is not suited for heating from the center out as it happens when heating by electric hotplates, alcohol or gas flames. It is a fine, very malleable clay, characterized by good stability during spinning and modeling. It is suitable for all pottery techniques but as it has a small expansion coefficient, many glazes can suffer from hair-cracking immediately after firing or later.
