Description
The Bodmer L12 clay is produced from potter clay G by adding 12% leucophyllite. The result: a thinning out, higher stability while spinning, easier drying, smaller expansion after wetting, which leads to a lower risk of hairline cracking in the glaze. Incidentally, the same excellent properties as in the G-clay apply. After the first firing the silvery shiny leucophyllite cells are faintly visible. The clay is highly recommended for spinning on the potter's wheel.
