Description
U19 – High-quality white faience clay for versatile ceramic arts
The U19 is an exceptionally fine white faience clay, made from the best raw materials of the Westerwald in Germany and carefully prepared in our clay production facility in Einsiedeln. Its smooth, plastic consistency makes it perfect for throwing on the potter’s wheel and also for handbuilding, modeling, and slab techniques.
Its white color makes this clay an ideal glaze base. Colors and glazes appear especially intense, leading to brilliant, radiant results. That’s why it’s popular among ceramic professionals as well as in schools and workshops.
Why U19?
